From rags to RICHES


There’s this boy who lived in a small town with a simple life, he was studying from elementary. He was raised only by his mother because they were left by his own father while they were still young and they never saw him ever again. Thus, his siblings and himself grew up in a ragged and smelly place near the dumpster and had a little amount of money from their mother’s income as a maid. So apart from having a difficult childhood as an underprivileged status in life, the boy decided to save the money his mother has given to him for the food he would eat at school because whenever he passes by a store from school he always stare at the toy and been dreaming of playing it. But the time came that the poor boy needed to stop from going to school to help his mother earn more income for them to survive the lifestyle they have. So, he decided to just use the money he saved for a small business. He then started to buy wasted pieces of cloth from an old factory and handed it over to his mother for her to sew it into a small yet useful piece of a round rag. After the procedure of sewing the rags. He went all over their town to sell all the rags his mother made. He went to the streets to sell it to jeepney drivers, at schools from teachers and students to clean each and everything inside their school and they can use it also in wiping the board and all the dirt that surrounds them. Also, he sold it from janitors and street vendors who needed it to clean their places and he also even went to sari-sari stores just to sell all the remaining rags. After all the years of hard work, it all went into places. He then graduated from college and had a degree as an entrepreneur. And later, he had a booming business of a factory that makes rags, mops, absorbent towels, and other sorts of cloths that can be used for cleaning. He had a successful life and he helped for some charities and organizations that also helping people who were like him back from ages.
